Through a Rural Utilities Services grant, Jay School Department has obtained teleconferencing equipment which can connect classrooms to a variety of remote locations, plus a network of other Maine schools (Dexter, Bingham and Lewiston High School.) Any classroom can use this equipment. (The Rumford/Dixfield crowd is starting up soon with a second round, and we are a partner there, also.)
