GENERAL INFORMATION
|
The candidate will provide tutorial services to needs students with disabilities who are unable to participate in the school's regular or special education classes. Tutoring may occur in a variety of settings including school, off-site in a neutral setting, in an interim alternative educational setting, in the child's home with adult supervision, or in a hospital setting. Assignments will be provided by the student's teachers. This is an hourly position and employment dates and times are flexible and vary depending on the needs of the school department. The candidate will perform various tasks including, but not limited to: the review and reinformement of previously introduced material, charting of behavioral data/anecdotal records of tutoring sessions, and gathering/submitting student work.

QUALIFICATIONS
|
* Certified special education and regular education teachers preferred
* Proof of Criminal History Background Check
* Strong academic skills and communication skills
* Ability to maintain appropriate level of ethical behavior and confidentiality
regarding student information.
