I would like to take a moment to thank the maintenance and custodial staff here at the Jay School Department.Your hard work this summer is appreciated and our buildings are looking great for the return of our staff and students.

WELCOME BACK STUDENTS & STAFF

September 1st is right around the corner.

• All students in grades K to 12 go to and from school together on one bus run. 

• Pre-k and Head Start students are transported on separate bus routes. They have school from 9 am to 1 pm Monday - Thursday.  

• It is our goal to provide the Jay Students and Staff not only with a safe, friendly atmosphere on our buses but to ensure that they have professionals driving them to and from all school activities.  Our team of drivers is outstanding. They receive yearly on-going training to keep them up- to- date with all of the changes and mandates they continue to face. 

• Our Custodial, maintenance and grounds staff are well trained professionals that provide a clean, safe and healthy environment with the most effective environmentally friendly cleaners available.  
  

• Our grounds are well maintained and we continue to make them better.  Given the financial circumstances we are faced with, they are in outstanding shape.

• The custodial staff is just finishing up with summer cleaning.  They have gone through every room of every building thoroughly cleaning.  They continue to provide the staff, students and community members with outstanding conditions to work, teach, learn and play in.
